James Waugh performs cover songs drawn from a number of genres including early rock n' roll/doo wop, country western, southern rock, folk and foreign pop and Neapolitan music. 4 and 1/2 years ago, James began practicing music for the first time ever (and also performing on stage for the first time ever). He initially started as an 'a cappellist" but soon incorporated acoustic guitar. James has a strong academic background in history, political science, international relations studies, national science policy and German and Russian languages. Accordingly, he often provides audiences with descriptions of the historical context/background, relative to the composer, performer(s) and the era or cultural element of which the song is a part of or has its origin. By reason of the same background and interests, he occasionally performs music in other languages: German, Russian and French. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChCXYcrj_ibqNyp2UTdq3kA
