Ada Speaking on What to Wear
A work-in-progress by Marilyn Arsem on the dress reform movement of the 19th Century.
Incorporating original texts and letters from the 19th century, this performed lecture/conversation looks at efforts by feminists in Boston calling for rational dress and emancipation from the dictates of fashion.
This project is made possible in part by a grant from the Boston Foundation, through the Live Art Boston program.
