      As I child, I had coloring books which had pages of connect the dots, once you connected the dots VOILA A PICTURE of something which you could then color.  Growing older it became more of a mental quandary of connecting the dots to solve a problems.

      This is a dot quandary I noticed while reading the Boston Globe (Friday, August 5, 2011). On page A3 an article reported by Associated Press titled "Oil spills devastate Nigerian delta, UN says".  I read the article and made note of the oil companies involved a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell PLC and the state-run Nigerian National Petroleum Corp.

      Same paper, same day Boston Globe (Friday, August 5, 2011). On page B9 an article by Katarzyna Klimasinska Bloomberg New, titled "Shell gains US approval on Alaska oil exploration". It begins "Royal Dutch Shell PLC won conditional US approval for its exploration plan in Alaska's Beaufort Sea..."
