For 33 years Mobius has been challenging reality with mind-altering
experimental art of every stripe. Now it's time for us to stop
redefining your reality and start revolutionizing REALTY.
Welcome to Mobius' *ArtRages Surrealestate* the latest installment of
our legendary, award-winning art party fundraiser. This time around
we're hoping to put our funds towards OWNING our own art space real
estate, an opportunity few arts organizations can claim. To this end
we're transforming the deserted cubicles of Boston into a refracted,
fantastical staging ground for our grand uprising.
Artrages will overflow with more art than you can hope to absorb:
installations, performances, live music, interactivity, electronica,
video, and plenty of the indefinable in four LIVE dimensions taking
you past the outer limits and beyond the twilight zone.
Produced by members of the Mobius Artists Group, ArtRages:
Surrealestate is a pressure-cooked party featuring the award winning
Drug Rug, Babes in Boinkland of Slutcracker fame, Dresden Dolls video
collaborator Michael Pope, Copal, Fluxus Artist / Impresario Keith A.
Buchholz and Bread & Puppet musicians Second Line Social Aid Pleasure
Society Brass Band. There will be a wearable art runway show, imbedded
open studios, dances with robots and original artworks by
over 70 artists from Algeria, Australia, Belgium, France, Burma, Spain,
Germany, Brazil, Italy, Finland, Mexico, Singapore, Canada as well as all
over the US to be exhibited and sold as part of our fundraising efforts, not to
mention a cash bar & free food to fuel you through the night.
Come enjoy a deep line up of the most amusing, cutting edge, party-happy,
startling and booty-shaking artists around and be prepared to redefine your
idea of art and party yourself beyond reality…
ArtRages is generously sponsored by Bulgroup Properties, the Berkshire Taconic Trust,
Advanced Lighting and Production Services, Boehm Architecture, Boston Beer Co.,
Paper City Brewery, Harpoon Brewery, Middle East Restaurant, Au Bon Pain, Bombay Club and Foodies

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO MOBIUS ARTRAGES 2010
Note: some folks who tried to use their GPS got lost so be forewarned
I think you'd do better and be less frustrated if you use these directions:
Where: 175 William F. McClellan Highway East Boston, MA 02128
Parking lot (free parking right at site).
The easiest way to get there from Boston is to take the Ted Williams Tunnel (Route 90 East) towards Logan Airport.
(you can also take the Callahan/Sumner Tunnel and follow signs for Route 1A North).
After you pass the airport, you will be on Route 1A North. Don't bother looking for a street sign that says McClellan Highway, it will just confuse you - just follow Route 1A North.
Start looking for a warehouse on the LEFT with a large Green sign on it which says "Storage".
Immediately after that on your RIGHT, you will see a sign which says 175 McClellan Highway on it
Here's a photo of that sign.

Turn RIGHT into the first place you can turn right (it's kind of driveway which looks like it could be a street).
Drive into the large parking lot and park close to the entrance labelled "Executive Offices" (it's the entrance closest to the highway)
This is where you will enter Mobius Artrages 2010.

If you end up at COURTYARD by MARRIOTT (motel), don't worry, just drive to the back of that and you will be able to cross back into the parking lot for 175 McClellan Highway.
Public Transportation Info (from Realtor brochure):
Both the Wood Island and Orient Heights Blue Line subway stops are roughly .5 miles walking distance to/from site
Wood Island is served by bus lines 112,120,121
Orient Heights is served by bus line 121
There are bus stops on both sides of site, one directly in front of the building (McClellan/Addison) - bus lines:
424-o-w, 426, 441, 442, 448, 449, 450, 455, 459
and directly behind (Bennington/Westbrook)
This has as map which shows the Blue Line stops:

Note: The full name of the highway is William F. McClellan Highway but sometimes it's shortened to McClellan Highway
