HUBRIS is a two-day event that celebrates performance work that embraces the notion of self-grandiosity in art. The included works ironically examine the relationship between the artist and viewer in performance art, where the presence of the artist's body has been interpreted at times as narcissistic and self-indulgent as opposed to a medium of aesthetic expression.  HUBRIS attempts to address these issues by both fulfilling and challenging this perception.  

Come by Friday evening to partake in a celebration of the greatness of Lubb Webb.  On both evenings, you can have your likeness drawn by the talented Sarah Rado.  On Saturday, enjoy live performances by Joseph Ravens, Basil El Halwegy, and EL Putnam.
