SMFA Sound Show

Please join us for an evening of audio performances by students, faculty, and staff of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.
The third and final show of the Spring 2011 semester and school-year showcases an eclectic and diverse mix of approaches, materials, styles, and processes including acoustic instrumentation, circuit-bent and handmade electronics, soundscapes, hardware and laptop based electronica and techno, resonating sculpture, and live video-mixing projections.
The evening of performances will be arranged in a round-robin format, with each act distributed around the space and performing 15-20 minute sets. The final performance will culminate in a casual celebratory atmosphere with cake, snacks, beverages, and beats!
