and including: Trudi Cohen, Oscar Diaz, Yuka Hamano Hunt, Max Lord, Matt Medeiros, Linda Papatopoli, Liz Roncka, Melissa St. Pierre, Adam Schutzman on toy pianos.
Mobius is excited to present two evenings and one late afternoon of new music for the often disregarded toy piano in its various guises: naked, abused, prepared, and amplified.
The mini fest will culminate Sunday, late afternoon, in multiple readings of Cage's Music for Amplified Toy Piano(s) rendered by various combinations of up to 14 (!) toy pianists wherein the audience will be surrounded and submerged in a chaotic cacophony of sound.
