I was supposed to go to China to perform in the 10th OPEN Performance Art Festival in Beijing. On August 10th, 2009, one week before I was supposed to leave, I started to have flu-like symptoms. By Friday, I wasn't sure if I was going to make it to China so I put together this video which had some of the concepts and words in Mandarin which I was planning on speaking so that another Mobius Artist, Alisia Waller, could take it with her to China for me in the event that I wouldn't make it in person. It turned out I had pneumonia so I never did make it to China. This video premiered in Beijing, China on Saturday August 22nd, 2009. I hope the Chinese speakers there were able to understand my Mandarin.
