Mobius Presents: 1 Minute Solos

Mobius is excited to announce another round of one of our favorite annual programs, "1 Minute Movement Solos," an evening of finished, solo performances that are strictly 1 minute in length.

The 2026 edition is curated by Jimena Bermejo with Heather Kapplow and presented by Mobius.

This year, 1 Minute Solos features a whopping 18 artists!! Performance details are below (but event order is still TBD.)

Chè Thái

Chè thái is a sweet and colorful Vietnamese dessert made with tropical fruits, jellies, and coconut milk. Here, the act of serving dessert becomes a medium of hospitality and cultural memory. An Hà is an interdisciplinary artist, his work explores the poetic language within the everyday objects and gestures.

Prisoners of Our Mind

Grendelin Drag presents the Witch of the Woods and his encounter with a Swan in the Forest. Beckett Brueggemann is a fibers and performance artist using drag and folklore to create queer explorations and healing escapisms.

Hail Mary

Enfolded Unfolding

Enfolded Unfolding explores the opposing yet interdependent relationship between folding and unfolding through weight shifting, alternating movements, and the establishment of bisecting lines across the body and extending into negative space as representations of vulnerability. Courtney Spero is the co-founder of Spero Dance, an emerging, project-based choreographic cohort dedicated to dissecting notions of performance through genre and musical experimentation.

TBD (To Bear Decay, To Broker Distance, To Broadcast Disaster)
